Play Your First Round

Learn both sides of a first round: the Farmer opening, the Beast release, and the two ways a match is won.

Survive Deep in the Woods is a round-based Roblox survival game by Simple and Fiya Games. The official description is the whole match in one loop: Farmers chop trees, build and defend a base, collect resources, and survive until morning. The Beast hunts every Farmer before sunrise. Then you queue again.

The lobby shows a shop, an inventory, achievements, and a Classes screen. A recorded new player already had an axe and a simple sword. Roles are announced when the round starts. Recordings do not show a role-pick screen, and one commentary says the game tells you whether the round has one Beast or two. Be ready for either side.

If you are a Farmer

  1. Chop trees immediately. The tutorial target cited for the opening is about 10 wood, enough for a chicken farm in one recorded run.
  2. Place that chicken farm. Chickens produce gold without further chopping.
  3. Pick one base spot and stay there. A map corner gives the Beast fewer ways in.
  4. Raise a shelter before dark. Night is the stretch players call the most dangerous.
  5. Fence the shelter so the approach is a choice, not a circle.
  6. Spend farm gold on a workbench, gates, better farms, then turrets, ballistas, and land mines.

You can hear the Beast when it is close. Look behind you between trees. One reported escape is that the Beast cannot climb onto trees. Teammates on one shared base finish walls faster than five scattered camps.

If you are the Beast

You start caged. Release timers in recordings run from a few seconds to about 20 seconds, so use whatever countdown you see. Farmers are weakest before turrets and fences exist. Sweep the zone nearest your cage first. The forest is described as four zones: two green, plus red and yellow.

Follow footprints, press seek again after every miss, and save the stamina sprint for the last gap. When a base is already stacked, break ballistas first, then farms, and leave to heal instead of standing in the guns. A reported health pool is about 500.

How the round is won

Side Win What players watch
Farmers The Beast dies, usually to defenses, or Farmers last until morning A countdown, a remaining-Farmer counter, and a Farmer Win result
Beast Every Farmer is caught before sunrise The same counter falling as catches land

One walkthrough calls the survival target 15 minutes. Another round still showed about 13 minutes just after spawn. Read the clock in the match you are in.

Details recordings do not settle

  • Two catches. An older store sentence said you are gone after two catches. That line was removed. One writeup dates the edit September 4, 2026, another September 26, 2026. Gameplay still shows defeated Farmers returning, so plan as if a single catch may not end a life.
  • Controls. Commentary mentions P for the build menu and Q for a Beast strike. Those are not an official control list.
  • A second mode. Some comments mention an Infection mode. The official description and the Roblox genre fields only document the Farmers-versus-Beast round. No public source lists Infection rules, so this guide does not invent them.

No redemption codes are documented. Class names and the wood bonus live on the classes page. The next reads are the Farmer loop, the Beast hunt, and your first base.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

How does a round of Survive Deep in the Woods end?

Farmers win if the Beast dies or if they are still alive when the round reaches morning. The Beast wins by catching every Farmer before sunrise. A 15-minute length is what several players describe, but the on-screen countdown is the deadline to trust.

Are there working codes?

No code string is listed, and no in-game code box has been documented. Rewards that are documented come from chopping, farms, and achievements. Treat code lists copied from other Roblox games as unrelated.

Which class should I pick?

Farmer is the documented pick for a fresh run because the opening is about staying alive while the base grows. That recommendation is a playstyle, not a published perk. A max-level Lumberjack is the only class with a reported bonus: 3 wood per chop instead of 2, and 25 percent faster chopping. Other class perks have not been shown.

What is the difference between gold and amber?

Round builds are paid with wood and with a gold or coin balance. One new Farmer started with 100. Classes, achievement rewards, and the 700 shop boxes are described with the words amber and embers. Play reports do not settle whether those names are one currency or several. Read the label on the menu you are spending from.

Does one catch eliminate a Farmer?

An older store line said a Farmer is eliminated after two catches. That sentence was later removed, and writeups do not agree on the edit date. Recorded rounds still show caught Farmers coming back, so do not treat one knockdown as a confirmed elimination.

Who made the game, and how big is a server?

The public Roblox record lists a 60-player server, the Survival and 1 vs All genres, and the creator group Simple and Fiya Games. A check of that record on October 12, 2026 showed 26,802,347 visits. Player count moves constantly, so a single playing number is only a snapshot.
